CBTi Course Booking Terms & Conditions
1. About these terms
1.1 These terms apply to every booking for a live online CPD course run by The Insomnia Centre Limited, company no. 14871938, registered office 3 Millstream Close, Axbridge, BS26 2DU] ("we", "us"), trading as The Better Sleep Clinic, including the CBT-I for Healthcare Professionals course.
1.2 By completing checkout you confirm you have read and accept these terms. Where a booking is paid for by an employer or company, these terms bind both the delegate and the organisation paying.
1.3 Our courses are designed for professionals booking for work purposes. If you book as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected (see 4.6).
2. Eligibility
2.1 The CBT-I course is open to qualified healthcare and allied professionals registered with a recognised professional or statutory body (for example GMC, NMC, HCPC, BANT, CNHC, UKIHCA or equivalent).
2.2 You must have completed Foundations in Sleep Health, or equivalent training we have accepted, before the course starts.
2.3 We may ask for evidence of registration or prior training. If you do not meet the entry requirements, we will tell you before the course and refund you in full. Trainees and students may be accepted at our discretion only.
3. Bookings and payment
3.1 Your place is confirmed when payment is received and we send a booking confirmation. Places are allocated in order of payment.
3.2 Full payment is due at booking. Invoiced bookings must be paid within 14 days of the invoice and in all cases before the course starts; we may release unpaid places.
3.3 Discount codes are limited to one per booking, cannot be applied after payment, and expire on the date stated.
4. Cancellations, transfers and substitutions by you
4.1 To cancel, email info@thebettersleepclinic.co.uk. Notice runs from when we receive your email. Refunds apply as follows:

No refund; one transfer to the next course for a £50 fee
4.2 Transfers are subject to availability, allowed once per booking, and must be used within 12 months. A transferred booking cannot later be refunded.
4.3 You may send a colleague in your place at no charge, provided they meet the entry requirements in section 2. Tell us at least 3 working days before the course.
4.4 Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of cancellation.
4.5 Missing part of the course, for any reason, does not entitle you to a partial refund.
5. Changes or cancellation by us
5.1 We may cancel or reschedule a course if minimum numbers are not met or for reasons beyond our control. You can then choose a full refund or a free transfer.
5.2 We may change tutors, timings or content where needed, keeping the learning outcomes and CPD hours the same.
5.3 Our liability for a cancelled course is limited to refunding your fee. We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, lost earnings or other costs you incur.
6. Attendance and CPD certificate
6.1 Courses run live online in UK time. You are responsible for a suitable device, internet connection and attending at the scheduled times, wherever you are based.
6.2 You must attend live with your camera on and take part in the practical sessions.
7. Course materials
7.1 All course materials, including slides, workbooks, sleep diaries, questionnaires and templates, belong to The Insomnia Centre Limited.
7.2 You may use them in your own clinical practice with your own patients and clients. You may not copy, resell, publish, share with others, or use them to train other people without our written permission.
8. Clinical responsibility and liability
8.1 The course is professional education. It does not license you to practise, or replace supervision required by your professional body.
8.2 You remain responsible for practising within your competence and registration, for your own professional indemnity, and for the care you provide.
8.3 Our total liability to you for any booking is limited to the fee paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Data, complaints and law
9.1 We handle your personal data in line with UK GDPR and our privacy policy. We share attendance records with BSLM and BANT only where needed for CPD accreditation.
9.2 Send any complaint to info@thebettersleepclinic.co.uk. We will respond within 10 working days.
9.3 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
